Rc.925/RVM(SSA)/C2/2012 Dated 19.7.2013 RVM Guidelines for Conducting Formative Assessment (F-1) under CCE-Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation
The SPD RVM has instructed "All the District Educational Officers, the Project Officers of RVM (SSA) and the Principals of DIETs in the State are informed that it is to conduct Formative Assessment Test- I in the month of July, 2013 as per the School Academic Calendar 2013-14."

In this connection it is proposed to follow the guidelines, instructions for conducting Formative Assessment Test- I under CCE, which are provided by the SCERT, Hyderabad
Therefore the District Educational Officers and the Project
Officers of RVM (SSA) are requested to inform to all MEOs inturn to Head
Masters and Photostat copy of
one set to all schools, MRCs and DIET immediately. Further they are
requested to instruct
all field functionaries to maintain records and registers as per the guidelines
of Formative Assessment Test. The expenditure may be met from the
Management Cost I REMS of AWP & B 2013-14.
TOOLS AND GRADING FOR FORMATIVE EVALUATION AS PER Rc.925
There are Mainly four Tools for Formative Evaluation:
- Children's Participation-Reactions.
- Written Items (Home Works, Note Books..)
- Project Works.
- Slip Tests.
- 10 Marks will be allotted for the above First three Items and 20Marks for fourth Item in Formative Assessment
- Total 50 Marks will be allotted
- The Percentage Marks achieved by the student will be taken for Calculating Grading.
