AP Tribal Welfare Gurukulam Intermediate 1st Year Admissions Notification 2014-15 through Gurukulam CET. Gurukulam's (Andhra Pradesh Tribal Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society) Notification for Common Engtrance Test for Admission into 1st Year Intermediate with Integrated Coaching for IIT/AIEEE (JEET /EAMCET for the Year 2014-15 for (03) SOEs, (08) COEs & IIT study Center.

About Tribal Welfare Gurukulams:
The Gurukulam, APTWREI Society, Hyderabad has been running with (11) institutions of Excellences (08) COEs / (03) SOEs/ (01) IIT Study Center apart from (55) RJCs for ST Students to provide necessary academic environment and inputs and also providing specialized coaching to meritorious ST students to enable them to compete successfully in order to get admissions into All India Level Institutes such as IIT, NIT, IIIT, Medical Colleges etc.

AP Tribal Welfare Gurukulam Intermediate 1st Year Admission Notification

Present Notification for Admissions into Intermediate Course:

1. Applications are invited from Boys & Girls for admissions into 1st Year Intermediate in English Medium for MPC & Bi.P.C Groups with integrated coaching for IIT- JEE/AIEEE/EAMCET for the Academic Year 2014-15 in the following institutions functioning in Gurukulam.
2. The selections will be made on merit basis through Entrance Test conducted by Gurukulam. The selected students will get all benefits extended by Gurukulam such as free boarding, lodging, dresses, note books & text books, bedding material, medical care and examination fee etc. Sri Chukka Ramaiah noted Educationist will give academic guidance for the Institutions of Excellence.
3. All the notified seats in (08) COEs & IIT Study Center will be filled through the Entrance Test and in case of (03) SOEs, the left over seats (after filling with the passed out 10th class students from the respective institutions) only will be filled through the entrance test.

Eligibility for Entrance Test:

1. All the ST students (Boys & Girls) who are appearing 10th class March - 2014 in TW  Residential Schools, Ashram Schools, Govt. Schools and other Govt. Recognized schools.and should have secured B2 grade(7 points) in aggregate and also secure B2 grade in English in SSC Public Examination 2014.
2. Students studying in Telugu / English Medium are eligible to appear for the Entrance Test.
3. Parental Income should not exceed Rupees One Lakh per annum.
4. Selected candidates have to produce necessary certificates like, Caste, Income, Ration card SSID No, Aadhar card. Marks Memo, Study, T.C; Physical fitness certificates, 06 Passport size photos at the time of admission.

Reservation: 1. 100% seats are reserved for STs only. 20% seats are reserved for Girls in (03) COEs

Submission of Application Form:

1. All the eligible ST students only shall submit the filled in applications to the respective District Conveners with the following details given in the Notification attached at the bottom of this post in the given format neatly typed on (A4 Size) whitepaper. 
2. Hall tickets will be issued by the convener principal immediately after receiving the application in person. 
3. No postal correspondence will be entertained.
4. The applicant should affix one recent Passport size photo attested by the Principal/Head Master and (02) more photos to be enclosed to the application. 
5. Applicant shall submit the filled in application form (A4 Size) and photo affixed hall ticket form to the Convener Principal of concerned district on or before 28-02-2014. 
6. Hall tickets will be issued by the convener principal immediately after receiving the application in person.

Mode of Entrance Test:-

The Entrance test will be of subjective type which covers (8) very short questions carries (2) marks each, (5)Multiple choice questions (1) mark each and (4) one word answer type questions (1)mark each up to the standard of X class syllabus in the subjects of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biological Sciences @25 mark in each subject .

There will be test in English for 25 marks in the areas of comprehension, composition and grammar. The total marks for the tests including English are 125 for aduration of 2.30 hours (i.e) from 10.30 AM to 1.00 PM

Selection of Students: 1. Selection of students for IIT Study Centre, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad shall be made on basis of State Common Merit (Boys only). 

2. Selection of students SOEs & COEs shall be based on the regional merit (students of catchments districts) in common Entrance Test following the reservation norms for Girls.
