Rc.01-AP Urdu School Timings in AP during Ramzan 2014-15. Rc.01/U.C/2014 Dated 24.6.2014. Urdu Medium Primary, Upper Primary, High Schools in Andhra Pradesh during Ramzan will Run from 8 am to 1.30 pm from 29th June to 28th July 2014. As the Ramzan Month is going to Start from 29th June 2014, the DSE AP issued orders to run all the Urdu Medium Schools.

Sub: Secondary Education - Urdu Medium Schools-Changing of School Hours during the period of Ramzan from 29-06-2014 to 28-07-2014 -timings 8 am to 1.30 pm- Certain Instructions - Issued.
- All the District Educational Officers and Regional Joint Directors of School Education in Andhra Pradesh are informed that certain teacher unions have requested to change the School Hours of Urdu Medium Schools in the State from 8 am to 1.30 pm from 29-06-2014 to 28-07-2014 (30) days during the Period of Ramzan.
- It is informed that as per the School Academic Calender 2014-15, the School Management Committees may slightly modify the School Timings and intimate the same to the school functionaries.
- This issue was discussed with the Hon'able minister for Human Resource and Development and the Principal Secretary of School Education.
- Therefore, the Regional Joint Directors of School Education/ District Educational Officers are instructed to issue necessary instructions to the Urdu Medium Primary, Upper Primary, High Schools under their Control to maintain the School Hours from 8am to 1.30 pm during Ramzan Period from 29-06-2014 to 28-07-2014 (30) days. These instructions are applicable to the Urdu Medium Primary, Upper Primary, High Schools. For Urdu Medium Parallel Sections, and Urdu Medium DIETs in the State they may slightly alter the timings stricly following 5 1/2 Hours of instructions based on local needs.
