Much awaited Andhra Pradesh Teachers Recruitment Test Notification 2014 (AP DSC 2014) with 9061 Posts (AP TET cum TRT 2014 Notification) was released on 21st Nov. Total Vacancies are 9061. Out of the Total AP TET Vacancies, 6244 Vacancies are for SGTs, Lang Pandits 812, School Asst are 1849, PET are 156. The Schedule for AP DSC 2014. is as follows:

- The applicants have to pay a fee of Rs. 250/- towards application processing and conduct of Recruitment Test (for each post separately) through APONLINE, e-seva centers and through Payment Gateway between 02/12/2014 and 16/01/2015. The last date for application online is 17/01/2015.
- The step by step procedure for submission of application through online will be given in USER GUIDE on website (http://apdsc.cgg.gov.in) which will be made available from 03/12/2014. The post-wise vacancies in each district will be available in web site (http://apdsc.cgg.gov.in).
- AGE: Applicants must have completed the minimum age of 18 years and must not have completed the maximum age of 40 years as on 1st July, 2014. However, in case of BC/SC/ST, the maximum age
- limit is 45 years and in case of Physically Challenged the maximum age limit is 50 years. Upper age limit for Ex-service Men: A person, who worked in the Armed Forces of the Indian Union, shall be allowed to deduct the length of the service rendered by him in the Armed Forces and also three years from his age for the purpose of the maximum age limit.
- The candidates shall apply through online after payment of fee and generation of reference ID. After filling online application, printout should be generated. Candidates should submit all the relevant certificates (hard copies) with self-attestation along with signed printout application form to the District Educational Officer of District concerned.
- The last date of filling online application form is 17th January 2015 and the last date for submitting printout copy with self-attestation certificates will be 31st January 2015.
- It may be noted that Hall Ticket shall not be issued unless online application form is filled by the candidates and printout is submitted to the District Educational Officer concerned.
- Hall tickets will be issued to the candidates based on the data furnished online. Hence mere issue of Hall Tickets and writing of examination does not confer any right regarding eligibility.
- Any irrelevant/wrong information/fake certificates found at any stage the candidates will not be considered and are liable to be debarred for all future recruitments besides liable for prosecution as per law.
- The standard of questions for the examination will be at intermediate level for SGT posts and at degree level for School Assistant posts.
- The candidates who have passed SSC Examination in the concerned medium of instruction or with the concerned Language as First Language are eligible to apply for the posts of SA (Mathematics, Biological Sciences, Physical Sciences, Social Studies & Physical Education), SGT and PET in the concerned medium school except for English medium posts. The candidates who have passed the Intermediate / Degree Examination (Academic) in the concerned medium of instruction or with the Language concerned as a subject are also eligible to apply for the posts in that medium except for English Medium posts. The SSC in concerned medium completed before going for higher examinations will only be considered. The SSC completed in concerned medium after completion of higher exams will not be considered
