ORDER:
- In the circumstances stated by the Prl. Chief Conservator of Forests (Head of Forest Force) that, “Karthika Vanamahotsava” is celebrated in the State for contribution towards nature conservation and requested the Government to declare 17-11-2014 (Monday) falling in Karthika Masam, as Optional Holiday.
- 2. The Government, after careful consideration of the matter, have decided to declare 17-11-2014 (Monday) as Optional Holiday to celebrate “Vanamahotsavam”. Accordingly, the following notification is issued and shall be published in the extra-ordinary Gazette of Andhra Pradesh:
NOTIFICATION
In partial modification of the orders issued in G.O.Rt.No.5236, General Administration (Poll.A) Department, dated 29.11.2013, notifying the General Holidays and Optional Holidays, the Government hereby declare 17-11-2014 (Monday) as Optional Holiday to celebrate “Vanamahotsavam”.
