Rc 746 SMC Tenure Completion by 29 June MEOs kept SMC Chairperson. Lr.Rc.No 746/SSA/C8/2015 Dated 22-6-2015. Vide Rc.746/RVM(SSA) dated 24th June 2013 SMC formation Guidelines were released. SMCs were formed basing on those Guidelines. The Tenure of the School Management Committees were ordered as 2 Years. Now by 29th June 2015, the tenure of the SMCs formed then, has completed. Hence the CSE & SPD has instructed that the Mandal Educational Officers of the Mandal concerned should be kept as Chairperson of the SMC to avoid hardships in drawing the School Grants and School Maintenance Grants of the Schools. - In continuation of this office letter, cited, I am to inform that the tenure of the present SMCs in the State will be expiring by 29.06.2015
- In this connection I am to inform you that the construction of toilets in the schools are in full swing and many payments will required to be released by SMCs to the contractors. Other developmental activities will also be affected.
- In view of the above, I request you to be keep MEO of the concerned Mandal as in-charge Chairperson of the SMC with School Head Master and School Complex Head Master as joint signatories for release of payments till the formation of new SMCs.
