The following Notification shall be published in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette.
01. Short Title:-
These Rules may be called as Andhra Pradesh Educational Service [Mandal Educational Officer, Revenue Mandal] Rules.
02. Constitution:-
The post of Mandal Educational Officer, Revenue Mandal shall constitute a separate category in Andhra Pradesh Educational Service Rules.
03. Method of Appointment and Appointing Authority:
04. Qualifications:-
No person shall be eligible for appointment by transfer to the post of Mandal Educational Officer, Revenue Mandal, unless he possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Science/Commerce and B.Ed. Degree from a University of India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act, Provincial Act or a State Act or an Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission or an equivalent qualification.
05.Age:-
No person shall be eligible for appointment by transfer to the post of Mandal Educational Officer, Revenue Mandal. If he/she completed 55 years of age as on 1st May of the year.
06 .Minimum Service:-
No person shall be eligible for appointment by transfer to the post of Mandal Educational Officer, Revenue Mandal unless he/she has put in not less than 5 years of Service as Head Master Grade-II(Gazetted) Zilla Praja Parishad School.
07. Reservation of Appointment:-
The Rule of Reservation as prescribed in rule-22 of the Andhra Pradesh State and Subordinate Service Rules 1996 and orders issued thereon from time to time shall apply to the post of Mandal Educational Officer by appointment by transfer from the category of Head Master Grade-II (Gazetted).
08. Postings and Transfers:
The Regional Joint Director of School Education concerned shall be the competent authority for transfer and posting.
09. Unit of Appointment:
The Unit of Appointment for posting and transfer is the Revenue District concerned.
