ORDER:-
- In the G.O. second read above, the Andhra Pradesh Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Rules, 2010 have been issued. Subsequently, certain amendments have been made to the said Rules vide G.Os. third and fourth read above.
- 2. In the fifth read above, the department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Human Resources Development, Government of India have requested to incorporate Learning Outcomes in the Andhra Pradesh Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Rules, 2010, as clause (c) of sub-rule (2) of Rule 23 of the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Rules, 2010 (Central Rules) have been amended to include reference on Learning Outcomes.
- 3. The State Project Director, SSA has stated that the Rule 25(2)(c) of the Andhra Pradesh Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Rules, 2010 may also be considered for amendment similarly as per the amendment made to the said Central Rules, 2010.
- 4. Government, have therefore, decided to amend the Andhra Pradesh Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Rules, 2010, issued in G.O.Ms.No.20, School Education (PE-Prog.I) Department, dated 03.03.2011.
- 5. Accordingly, the following notification will be published in an Extra Ordinary Issue of the Andhra Pradesh Gazette dated:14.11.2017.
N O T I F I C A T I O N
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 38 of the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act, 2009 (Act No.35 of 2009), the Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby makes the following amendment to the Andhra Pradesh Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Rules, 2010 issued in G.O.Ms.No.20, School Education (PE.Prog.I) Department dated the 3rd March, 2011 and as amended subsequently from time to time:-
AMENDMENT
In the said rules, for clause (c) of sub-rule (2) of rule 25, the following shall be substituted, namely:- “(c) (i) prepare class-wise, subject-wise learning outcomes for all elementary classes; and
(ii) prepare guidelines for putting into practice continuous and comprehensive evaluation, to achieve the defined learning outcomes (Learning Outcomes specified by the NCERT / SCERT from classes I to VIII are added as appendices I to VI to this G.O.)”.
