A learner has the flexibility to choose a minimum of five subjects: i.e., one or two languages under Group 'A' and three to four subjects under Group 'B' from list of subjects shown in each group totaling five subjects.
A learner can opt for sixth subject either from Group 'A' or Group 'B'.
To successfully complete the SSC course one has to pass a minimum of five subjects with a minimum of 35% marks in each subject.
Medium of Instruction: Can select any one of the mediums out of Telugu, Urdu, English and Oriya.
Choice of Subjects: Can choose any five subjects from the Group lists of subjects in Scheme of Studies.

The Mission of Open School is to provide education to all with special concern for girls, rural youth, working men and women, SCs, STs, differently-abled persons and others who for one reason or other could not continue their education up to Class XII with the formal system. APOSS AP OPEN SCHOOL S.S.C Scheme Details
The SSC course offered by APOSS is equivalent to SSC course (Class X) of formal system. To obtain admission in SSC course one has to complete 14 years of age by 31st August of year of admission and submit a self declaration that he/she is capable of studying SSC course.Scheme of Studies:-

AP OPEN School Instructions for Admissions 2022-23
- Go to APOSS website www.apopenschool.ap.gov.in and download and print the model application cum Prospectus.
- Read all the instructions carefully and satisfy the eligibility criteria i.e., educational qualifications, Minimum Age etc., conditions. Fill the model copy of application first for better understanding of the details to be filled.
- Select the Accredited Institution (Study Centre) from the list of Als' provided at the A.P. Open School website. Learner can select his/her choice of Accredited Institution where he/she wishes to take admission and attend Personal Contact Programme (PCP) for 30 days.
- Minimum enrolment in each of the AI Centre is 20. If any of the A.I. Centre enrolls less than 20 learners, the learners of that A.I. centre shall be shifted/ adjusted to the nearest viable A.I centre. The learners of such unviable AI Centre shall have to attend personal Contact Programme Classes in the newly allotted A.I. centre. No correspondence in such matters shall be entertained by APOSS.
- All stages of application submission, fee payment and admission confirmation will be done through ONLINE only. No other procedure is allowed in this regard. Admission fee Structure
AP Open Schools 10th Class Registration for Online Admissions
How to do the Registration for AP Open School 10th Online Admission- All the stages of application for admission can be processed in person or through any APONLINE center.
- For Registration into a Course, go to website www.apopenschool.ap.gov.in. Click on the "Registration" Button and select "Course" (SSC/INTER).
- Then enter Learner's Mobile No., Full Name of the Learner and Date of Birth and click on "Submit".
- After successful submission, pay the Registration fee through Payment Gateway/AP ONLINE.
- Then learners shall get Registration No. with details through SMS to complete the further process of application submission and Admission fee payment.
- Phone number will be accepted only one time for payment of Registration fee.
- Mere payment of Registration fee does not give any guarantee of confirmation of Admission/seat.
- The Admission is confirmed only after fulfilment of all other conditions.

AP Open Schools 10th Admissions - Eligibility Criteria - AGE
Eligibility criteria-documents to be submitted at the time of admission- వయోపరిమితి : ప్రవేశ సమయానికి ఆ సంవత్సరం 31 ఆగస్టు నాటికి తప్పనిసరిగా 14 సంవత్సరాలు నిండి ఉండాలి. గరిష్ఠ వయోపరిమితి లేదు.
- (i) In case of learners, who studied in any School
- (a) Government Primary/Upper Primary/High School, such learners have to submit Transfer Certificate/ Record Sheet issued by the Head Master for determining the Date of Birth.
- (b) In case of Private High Schools Transfer Certificate should also be countersigned by the Dy.E.O/ D.E.O and Mandal Educational Officer in case of Primary / Upper Primary School Record sheet.
- (ii) In cases of learners who have not studied in any School are only eligible to submit Birth Certificate issued by Municipal Authority / Office of the Registrar of Births and Deaths / Revenue Divisional Officer (RDO) Concerned.
- (iii) The learner has to enter the same Date of Birth as recorded in T.C / Record Sheet / Date of Birth Certificate in the admission application. Corrections in Date of Birth if wrongly recorded due to technical reasons shall be considered on the basis of the Date of Birth proof uploaded at the time of admission. No other document as evidence of the Date of Birth considered.
- (iv) If any learner admitted hiding the information of School Study and submitted Date of Birth Certificate instead of the Transfer Certificate / Record Sheet, his/her admission will be cancelled whenever it comes to the notice of A.P. Open School. The Pass Certificates if issued to the leaner will be cancelled.
- (v) Integrated Community Certificate will not be considered for Date of Birth.
APOSS SSC Admissions 2022 - Required Qualifications
If the learner studied in any school, the Transfer Certificate / Record Sheet is sufficient to be submitted or if the learner is never admitted in any school a self declaration that he / she has sufficient knowledge and capable of studying class X will have to be submitted with the application- (i) In case of learners, who studied in any School

AP Open School 2022-23 Admission Fee - Course Fee Structure
All categories of women, SC, ST, BC, PH, Transgender, Ex-Servicemen and their children are eligible for fee concession.- If the learner belongs to SC, ST or BC he/she has to furnish the Caste Certificate I Integrated Certificate covering Community, Age, Nativity and Residence issued by not below the rank of Tahasildar / RDO for claiming fee concession. T.C. will not be accepted as proof of Caste Certificate.

- Late Fee: During the stipulated period of late fee, late fee is to be paid as per given schedule in addition to the admission fee.
- Fee once paid shall not be refunded or adjusted under any Circumstances.
Admission Fee Concession categories:
All categories of women, SC, ST, BC, PH, Transgender, Ex-Servicemen and their children are eligible for fee concession.- (i) If the learner belongs to SC, ST or BC he/she has to furnish the Caste Certificate / Integrated Certificate covering Community, Age, Nativity and Residence issued by not below the rank of Tahasildar / RDO for claiming fee concession. T.C. will not be accepted as proof of Caste Certificate.
- (ii) In case of Transgender the certificate issued by District Medical Board has to be submitted for fee concession.
- (iii) If the learner belongs to Persons with Disabilities (P.W.D), Certificate issued by the District Medical Board concerned has to be submitted for fee/subject concessions.
- (iv) If the learner belongs to Ex-Servicemen or children of Ex-Servicemen, the Certificate issued by the District Sainik Welfare Officer for claiming fee concession.
- (v) If required documents are not submitted or the documents submitted are false the fee concession is not possible. If the documents are not submitted at the time of admission and claimed fee concession such learners will not be allowed for examinations unless full fee is paid. Otherwise admission will be cancelled.

- i) Completed 14 years of age by 31st August of the current academic year.
- ii) Admitted learners during the last 5 years and failed.
- iii) Admitted learners during the last 5 years and not appeared the Examinations so far.
