- All the Regional Joint Directors of School Education and District Educational Officers in the State are informed that, in the ref. 2nd read above, APSDMA, Guntur has furnished weather forecast report for the period from 12-06-2019 to 16-06-2019. As per the weather forecast report, prickly heat waves are to be prevailed from 12-06-2019 to 16-06-2019 in most of the districts in the State.
- Therefore, they are requested to conduct half-a-day schools from 12th June, 2019 to 15th June, 2019 from 08.00 a.m to 12.30 p.m in all schools in the state and conduct "Rajanna Badi Bata Programme" from 12-06-2019 to 15-06-2019 duly clubbing morning and evening session activities. Further, all schools shall function as usual i.e full day from 17th June, 2019 onwards in the State.
- This has the approval of the Commissioner of School Education, AP, Amaravati.
- These instructions should be followed scrupulously.
