The Mandal Resource Center has a grant of Rs 60000 to each MRC Center every financial year. The Utilization Guidelines for the MRC Grants, component wise are explained in details below. MRC Grants Utilization Guidelines AP SSA MRC / BRC Grants Rc 94
- The Mandal Resource Center is the center of management of all types of educational activities organized at the Mandal level. It is an educational information center and is the bridge between the District Project Office and the schools. It develops professional skills among teachers and implements edticational programs through community participation.
- The Mandal Resource Center has a grant for the management of mandal Educational Resource Centers every financial year. As per PAB 2019-20, a grant of Rs.60,000/- (Rupees Sixty Thousand only) to each Mandal resource center will be approved.
- Payment of electricity bills and telephone bills
- Repairs of Computer and TV r Purchase of chairs and carpets as needed for meetings
- To purchase stationery
- For the management of MRCs
- To collect, information and reports from schools, to meet the travel expenses.
- Maintenance of MEOs Meeting
- Payment of travel allowance to subject matter experts who are present at meetings at the Mandal Resource Center.
- For conveyance charges for school visits
- Purchasing of following materials with teaching grants. These should be used for the management of activities that contribute to the development of the teaching profession, such as the management of children's competencies.
- To compile library books (eg: Teacher Reference Books, NCERT / Other State reference books
- Children's C.D. Purchasing.
- To purchase TLM kits designed by various organizations
- Management of mandal level fairs
- Conducting children's talent contest and quiz competition
- Establishment of Science Lab, Math Lab, Basic Supplies and Leaning Corners in MRC.
- This should be used in conforming to the central concept of mandal resource management.
- Grant Usage:
- The grants should be deposited directly by the District Project Office in the account of the Mandal Education Officer.
- The Mandal Resource Center Grant shall be purchased or finished in accordance with the approval of the Committee established by the Mandal Education Officer, the Heads of the two School Complex and the Heads of the two Primary / Primary Schools.
- The expenditure details should be written on the wall with the paint on the MRC and displayed.
- Details of sanctioned grants and expenditure should be recorded in cash book from time to time.
- Receipts and UCs should be stored in voucher files.
- Details of the purchases should be entered in the Resolutions Book. > Purchased goods should be recorded in the stock register.
- The Ledger, Check Book, Pass Book, Bank Statements, etc. shall be maintained in full detail in all matters relating to the management of financial activities.
