ORDER:
In the circumstances stated by the Secretary, State Election
Commission, AP, Vijayawada in the reference read above, the Government
after careful consideration of the matter and as per provisions contained in
Section 225-A of Andhra Pradesh Panchayat Raj Act,1994 hereby authorise
all the District Collectors in the State for closure of Liquor shops within the
polling areas concerned during the period of 48 hours prior to the hour fixed
for conclusion of poll in connection with MPTC/ZPTCs elections, on i.e.,
21.03.2020.

In the circumstances stated by the Secretary, State Election
Commission, AP, Vijayawada in the reference read above, the Government
after careful consideration hereby authorise the Commissioner of Labour,
Andhra Pradesh, Vijayawada to declare a paid holiday on the day of poll i.e.,
on 21.03.2020 to the employees and workers employed in shops and
establishments situated in the areas where elections to the MPTC/ZPTCs are
being conducted as per AP Shops and Establishments Act.1988.
