HM & FW Dept. – Inclusion of certain procedures under Dr YSR Aarogyasri Scheme to treat the cases of Suspected and Confirmed positive COVID –19 cases – Orders - Issued. HEALTH, MEDICAL & FAMILY WELFARE (I) DEPARTMENT G.O.MS.No. 51 Dated: 06-04-2020.Govt of AP has included the 15 new procedures under Dr YSR Aarogyasri Scheme including treatment of COVID-19. The Hospitals should treat the suspected and confirmed positive stable or unstable cases under the said procedures on request made by the Local Health Authorities or under intimation to the Local Health Authorities duly following the safety, precautionary measures while treating such patients. The modifications in the treatment guidelines and packages will be issued periodically.
COVID-19 CORONA included in Dr YSR Aarogyasri Scheme
Read the following:

ORDER:
- In view of the present situation consequent to the incidence of COVID-19 in the State, the Government instructed to start the isolated rooms/ wards / Blocks in all the private hospitals to treat the suspected COVID–19 cases duly following the safety measures. Further vide G.O.2nd read above, the Government issued notifications empowering the District Collector & Magistrate to take over the Wards/Rooms/Blocks / entire hospital based on the requirement and for the good faith of the public health.
- 2. In view of increase in the no. of suspected cases in the State, the Chief Executive Officer, Dr YSR AHCT in the reference 3rd read above, has submitted the proposal to include 15 new procedures under Dr YSR Aarogyasri Scheme to treat the COVID–19 suspected and confirmed positive stable or unstable cases as recommended by the Government pulmonologists and submitted the list of procedures.
- 3. Government after careful examination of the matter, hereby include the 15 new procedures under Dr YSR Aarogyasri Scheme. The Hospitals should treat the suspected and confirmed positive stable or unstable cases under the said procedures on request made by the Local Health Authorities or under intimation to the Local Health Authorities duly following the safety, precautionary measures while treating such patients. The modifications in the treatment guidelines and packages will be issued periodically. The List of 15 new procedures and guidelines/packages are appended as Annexure to this order. These orders will come into force with immediate effect.
- 4. The Chief Executive Officer, Dr YSR AHCT shall initiate immediate necessary action to add these procedures under Dr YSR Aarogyasri Scheme and directed to issue necessary instructions / guidelines to the Hospitals with regard to clarification of PPEs amount, Cost of tests if conducted in Pvt labs located within the State / Outside the State, guidelines on collection of sample and on conduction of standalone test with due guidelines. Further, CEO, Dr.YSR AHCT should ensure that the NWHs should adhere with the guidelines issued from the Government as well as from the Trust time to time.
- 5. This order issues with the concurrence of the Finance Department vide their U.O.No.FIN01-FMU0ASD(HMF1)/1/2020-FMU-HMFW (computer no.1133547), Dated.06/04/2020.
