TS/ Telangana List of Holidays 2023 Telangana State General Holidays Optional Holidays for 2023 G.O.Rt.No.2140 DATED: 15.11.2022 The TS/Telangana State Government directs that all offices under State Government shall remain closed on all Sundays and Second Saturdays in all the months during the year 2023. List of Holidays for Telangana State Offices/ Employees for the Calendar year 2023 are as follows. These list of TS Holidays for 2023 includes TS Telangana State General Holidays 2023, TS Telangana State Optional Holidays 2023. Govt of Telangana has released the Telangana State Official List of Holidays for the Calendar Year 2023 for All Government Offices, Schools, Educatioal Institutions in the Telangana State.
The following Notification shall be published in the next issue of Telangana extra-ordinary Gazette:
The Government of Telangana hereby notifies that during the year 2023 the days specified in Annexured shall be observed as General Holidays by all the State Government Offices including the days for occasions / festivals which fall on Sundays and also notify Optional Holidays for State Government offices as shown in Annexure-ll including the days for occasions / festivals which are falling on Sundays.
2. The State Government directs that all offices under State Government shall remain closed on all Sundays and Second Saturdays in all the months during the year 2023.
3. In addition to the above mentioned General Holidays in Annexure I, the State Government employees may avail themselves of Optional Holidays not exceeding FIVE during the year 2023 on the festivalsloccasions specified in Annexure-ll to this order, at their option and irrespective of the religion to which the festival pertains. Permission to avail any of these holidays shall be applied for, in writing in advance and will normally be granted by the Superior Officer competent to grant casual leave except when the presence of an individual employee is considered necessary in exigencies of Government work. 4, The Government also directs that General Holidays shall not ipso-facto apply to the Industrial
Establishment and Public Undertakings under the control of the State Government, the workmen engaged in Public Works Departments and Educational Institutions in this State. Separate orders regarding the festivals / occasions when these Institutions observe holidays shall be issued by the concerned Administrative Department of the Secretariat.
5. If there is any change of date in respect of Idu'I Filar, Idu'l Azha, Muharram and ld-e-Milad as per
the moon sight or any other holiday declared now, it shall be announced through electronic/print media. All the Departments of Secretariat, Heads of Departments and District Collectors shall take action according to such an announcement and without waiting for formal order about the change of date.

తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్రంలో 2023లో 28 సాధారణ సెలవులు
24 ఐచ్చిక సెలవులు ప్రకటించిన రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం సాక్షి, హైదరాబాద్: 2023లో రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వ కార్యాలయాలకు 28 సాధారణ సెలవులు, 24 ఐచ్చిక సెలవులను రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం ప్రకటించింది. ఈ మేరకు సెలవుల జాబితాతో ప్రభుత్వ ప్రధాన కార్యదర్శి సోమేశ్ కుమార్ మంగళవారం ఉత్తర్వులు జారీ చేశారు. అన్ని ఆదివారాలు, రెండో శనివారాల్లో రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వ కార్యాలయాలు మూసి ఉంటాయని తెలిపారు. మతం, ఉత్సవంతో సంబంధం లేకుండా 24 ఐచ్చిక సెలవుల్లో గరిష్టంగా ఏవైనా 5 ఐచ్చిక సెలవులను వాడుకో వడానికి అనుమతించారు. నెలవంక ఆధారంగా రంజాన్, బక్రీద్, మొహర్రం, మిలాద్-ఉన్-నబీ పర్వదినాల సెలవుల్లో ఏమైనా మార్పులుంటే తర్వాత ప్రక టిస్తారు. సాధారణ సెలవులు, ఐచ్చిక సెలవులు ప్రభుత్వ ఉద్యోగులకు మాత్రమే వర్తిస్తాయి. పరిశ్రమలు, రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వరంగ సంస్థలు, పబ్లిక్ వర్క్స్ డిపార్ట్మెంట్స్, విద్యాసంస్థల ఉద్యోగులకు సాధారణ సెలవులు వర్తించవు. పం డుగలు, ఉత్సవాల సందర్భంగా ఈ సంస్థలు అమలు చేయాల్సిన సెలవుల విషయంలో సంబంధిత ప్రభుత్వ శాఖలు ప్రత్యేక ఉత్తర్వులు జారీ చేస్తాయని సీఎస్ తెలిపారు. సాధారణ సెలవులు 4 ఆదివారాల్లో, 2 రెండో శనివారాల్లో వస్తున్నాయి. దీంతో ప్రభుత్వ ఉద్యోగులకు వాస్తవంగా లభించనున్న సాధారణ సెలవుల సంఖ్య 22కి తగ్గనుందిTS Telangana State General Holidays 2023 List
