The Fresh Course for 2021 is going to commence from 15th Feb to 16th March. Notification has been released for 2021 Year to be conducted face to face.

• The attention of the District Educational officers in the state is invited to the reference read above, and informed that face to face on-line programme for Teachers of Primary Schools scheduled from 15.02.2021 to 16.03.2021 at RIESI, Bengaluru.
• Therefore, all the District Educational Officers in the state are requested to identify according to criteria given in the attachment and send the particulars of 2 Primary School teachers in the enclosed prescribed format on or before 25.01.2021 to this office through email.
• 30-day face-to-face (CELT) programme for teacher trainers, teachers of Primary School from 15.02.2021 to 16.03.2021 scheduled at RIESI, Bangalore - reg 

Communication from RIESE to CSE as follows:

• As you are aware, every year the Regional Institute of English, South India, Jnanabharathi Campus. Bengaluru conducts 30-days Certificate Courses in English Language Teaching for Primary Elementary School Teachers Teacher trainers. Due to Covid - 19 Pandemic 3 batches of CELT programme was conducted on-line 
• Now the situation is casing and every thing is coming to normal it is decided to conduct the next batch through face-to-face. 
• The next batch (Batch No 1) of 30-day CELT Programme for Primary/Elementary school teachers of your state is scheduled from 15.02.2021 to 16.03.2021 at RIESI, Bangalore. 
• Hence we kindly request you to identify 25 teachers from different districts who are teaching English at the Primary school level and to depute them to RIESI Bengaluru to attend the 30-day CELT Programme from 15.02.2021 to 16.03.2021. Please send the list of identify the training programme well in advance to the Institute so as to enable us to make arrangements for their accommodation. 
• We would also appreciate it very much if you could kindly make a reserve list of 10 teachers for use if necessary 

RIESE CELT 30 Days -Criteria for selecting the teachers / teacher trainers

1. willing to undergo this training 
2. capable of acting as teacher trainer in the department 
3. sound health with no chronic ailments 
4. representation to be given to women - SC / ST / OBC / Differently abled categories 
5. preference to be given to newly recruited teachers.
6. teachers already undergone RIESI Training (60/30-day) are not eligible.
7. should be below the age of 50 years

Course details:

1. It is a residential training course Trainees allowance of Rs. 200/- per day is allocated and this amount will be adjusted towards the food. contingent expenditure course materials and maintenance
2. The State department has to arrange travel allowance of participants from the work place to RIESI Bengaluru and back to work place.
3. Duration of the course is 30 days. Course No.4/2020-2021 (from 15.02.2021 to 16.03.2021)
4. Certificates indicating the grade of achievement will be issued to the participants.

Teachers deputed for training are instructed to join the course without fail and no representation for cancellation of this order or for leave will be entertained. Failure to comply with the instruction will be construed as defiance and will expose them to disciplinary action

HOURS OF WORK
09:30 AM - 05:00 PM - on all working days
Trainees ought to be punctual in attnding classes Unpunctuality and irregularity will be Viewed enously and may result in the trainees being sent back

HOLIDAYS
The Institute will remain closed on all second and fourth Saturdays, Sundays and declared holidays by Karnataka Government

• 100% attendance is expected
