IPPB Postal Accounts Accepted for AMMAVODI - Jagananna Amma Vodi 2022 -Postal Accounts with DBT
Ref:-Lr.No. IPPB\AP\DGE-01\2022-23, Dated:10.05.2022 of the Assistant General Manager & Circle Head, India Post Payment Bank Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh addressed to the Hon’ble Minister Education, A.P., Amaravati.
All the Regional Joint Directors of School Education and all the District Educational ofcers in the State are informed that in the reference cited, the Assistant General Manager & Circle Head, India Post Payment Bank, Vijayawada has informed that the Banking with India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) provides the following advantages to the Government agencies/ Departments.
Considering their vast network and latest technology enabled products & services and the benefits it offers to the Students (Scholarship Beneficiaries), the Assistant General Manager & Circle Head India Post Payment Bank Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh has requested to instruct the field functionaries to accept their bank "India Post Payments Bank" for Amma Vodi of Andhra Pradesh state
Government and Inclusion of their bank account in the above mentioned portal for those beneficiaries who are already having their bank account to avail the low cost and hassle services offered by them.
Therefore, while communicating herewith a copy of the letter of the Assistant General Manager & Circle Head India Post Payment Bank Vijayawada, all the Regional Joint Directors of School Education and all the District Educational officers in the state are requested to issue necessary instructions to all the Head Masters of all management Schools/MEOs/Dy.E.Os in their jurisdiction that all accounts in the "India Post Payments Bank" are also eligible for Jagananna Amma Vodi programme and those beneficiaries who are already having their account in the India Post Payments Bank and seeded with Aadhar number can avail the Ammavodi program through this account.
