Read the following:
i) Intermediate/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) (or)

In the G.O first read above, Government have issued Guidelines for conducting Andhra Pradesh State Teacher Eligibility Test (AP TET) under the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act (RTE), 2009.
2. The Commissioner of School Education in his letter fourth read above, has stated that NCTE, New Delhi, has issued amendments with regard to qualifications for Paper-I (A) & Paper-II (A), and he has therefore, requested to issue necessary amendments to G.O.Ms.No.23, School Education (Exams) Dept, Dated:17.03.2021.
3. In the circumstances stated by the Commissioner of School Education A.P., vide reference fourth read above, Government, after careful examination of the matter, hereby make the following amendments to the Guidelines for conducting Andhra Pradesh State Teacher Eligibility Test (AP TET) issued in the G.O.Ms.No.23, School Education (Exams) Department, Dated:17.03.2021.
"(a) MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR AP - TET PAPER – I (CLASSES 1 TO V) (REGULAR SCHOOLS):
In the G.O first read above, Government have issued Guidelines for conducting Andhra Pradesh State Teacher Eligibility Test (AP TET) under the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act (RTE), 2009.
2. AMENDMENTS
In the said G.O, A) For para 3(I) (a), the following shall be substituted, namely, "(a) MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR AP - TET PAPER – I (CLASSES 1 TO V) (REGULAR SCHOOLS):
i) Intermediate/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) (or)
ii) Intermediate/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition norms and procedure), Regulations, 2002(or)
iii) Intermediate/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) (or)
iv) Intermediate/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2 year Diploma in Education (Special Education) (or)
v) Graduation and two year diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) (or)
vi) Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) (or)
vii) Post Graduation with a minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade and three-year integrated B.Ed/M.Ed.
Note 1:- Relaxation up to 5% in the qualifying marks allowed to the SC/ST/BC/PH candidates."
B. For para 3(I) (c), the following shall be substituted, namely,
"(c) MINIMUM QUALIFICATION FOR TET PAPER -II -A (Classes VI to VIII (REGULAR SCHOOLS):
Mathematics and Science Teachers /Social Studies Teachers/Language Teachers:
i) At least 50% marks either in Graduation (or) in Post Graduation with B.Ed., (or)
Note 1:- Relaxation up to 5% in the qualifying marks allowed to the SC/ST/BC/PH candidates."
B. For para 3(I) (c), the following shall be substituted, namely,
"(c) MINIMUM QUALIFICATION FOR TET PAPER -II -A (Classes VI to VIII (REGULAR SCHOOLS):
Mathematics and Science Teachers /Social Studies Teachers/Language Teachers:
i) At least 50% marks either in Graduation (or) in Post Graduation with B.Ed., (or)
(ii) Graduation with at least 45% marks and 1 year Bachelor of Education in accordance with the NCTE recognition norms and procedure Regulations issued from time to time in this regard. (or)
(iii) Intermediate/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) (or)
(iv) Intermediate/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year B.A./B.Sc. Ed. or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed. (or)
(v) Graduation with at least 50% marks and 1 year B.Ed (Special Education) (or)
(vi) Post Graduation with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade and three year integrated B.Ed-M.Ed.
Note 1:- Minimum percentage of marks in graduation shall not be applicable to those incumbents who had already taken admission to the Bachelor of Education or Bachelor of Elementary Education or equivalent course prior to the 29th July, 2011.
Note 2:- Relaxation up to 5% in the qualifying marks allowed to the SC/ST/BC/PH candidates."
C. For para 3(IX) (1), the following shall be substituted, namely,
"1. The Joint Director and Convener TET, Office of the Director of School Education, Andhra Pradesh.(On Deputation under Foreign Service Terms and Conditions)"
4. The Commissioner of School Education, A.P shall take necessary action in the matter accordingly.
Note 2:- Relaxation up to 5% in the qualifying marks allowed to the SC/ST/BC/PH candidates."
C. For para 3(IX) (1), the following shall be substituted, namely,
"1. The Joint Director and Convener TET, Office of the Director of School Education, Andhra Pradesh.(On Deputation under Foreign Service Terms and Conditions)"
4. The Commissioner of School Education, A.P shall take necessary action in the matter accordingly.
