SPOT ADMISSIONS GUIDELINES TO CANDIDATES

Spot admissions will be conducted on :13.10.2022
Candidate shall present with all original certificates for spot admissions verification. After due verification the original certificates shall be returned back to the candidate. The candidate has to handover a set of Xerox copies of certificates and original transfer certificate (T.C) at the college.

· Tuition Fee reimbursement is not applicable to the candidates admitted Under Institutional Spot Admissions.

· Candidates can verify for the available vacancies duly verifying with institution profile and college wise allotment details.

Eligibility for AP POLYCET 2022 spot admissions:

1. In order of merit, who have not taken admission so far and passed qualifying examination or its equivalent examination with mathematics as one of the subject in the qualifying examination or its equivalent examination
2. Who are eligible AP POLYCET 2022 Spot Admission ?

• (a) The candidates qualified AP POLYCET-2022 and have not joined in Polytechnics through Convener AP-POLYCET-2022 Admissions.
• (b) Candidates qualified in POLYCET – 2022, but not attended certificate verification so far .
• (c) Candidates not qualified/not appeared in POLYCET – 2022
• The candidates who are desirous of seeking admission into Diploma Courses in Engineering/ Non-Engineering of Polytechnics through Spot Admissions are informed to attend the interested Polytechnics for the leftover seats.

• 1. First, with qualified candidates of APPOLYCET – 2022 in order of merit, who have not taken admission so far and passed qualifying examination or its equivalent examination with mathematics as one of the subject in the qualifying examination or its equivalent examination.
• 2. Secondly with the passed SSC or its equivalent examination in one attempt with Mathematics as one of the subject in the qualifying examination.
• 3. Finally with the candidates passed in SSC or its equivalent Examination compartmentally with Mathematics as one of the subject in the qualifying examination.

Other states candidates are not eligible for admissions into polytechnics including spot admissions as per presidential order. Hence, all the principals are directed not to include such candidates in the spot admissions list.

NOTE: Candidates belonging to NIOS / APOSS / CBSE / ICSE / OTHER Examinations recognized as equivalent to SSC of AP Government should have passed all Subjects including mathematics, Physics and Chemistry foreligibility to seek admission. In the above mentioned order 3,4 &5 for spot admission.


4. List of Xerox copies of certificates to be submitted

• AP-POLYCET-2022 HALL TICKET, if applicable
• AP-POLYCET-2022 RANK CARD ,if applicable
• MARKS MEMO of SSC or its equivalent
• Caste certificate in respect of SC/ST/BC
• 4th class to 10th class study certificates
• Economically Weaker Section( EWS) certificate ,if applicable
• Residence certificate of either of parents in case of non local candidates
• Local status certificate from MRO in case of those who migrated from Telangana state to Andhra Pradesh follow G.O.MS:132
• EWS Certificate if applicable
• NO CANDIDATE SHALL BE ADMITTED IN SPOT ADMISSIONS WITHOUT ORIGINAL CERTIFICATES.

5. candidate shall give a declaration as hereunder:
I declare that, I fulfill the eligibility criteria laid down for admission into polytechnics and also certify that I am not suffering from any of the following diseases:

(a) Mentally retarded
(b) Blindness
(c) Deaf and Dumb
(d) Chronic Heart, Lung, Kidney and Liver diseases
(e) Muscular dystrophy.

I shall also cannot claim any compensation or concession in case of any accident / damage caused to me during my course of study at the Institution or at the place of training from the Principal of the institution/ Department of Technical Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh. Follow the rules of reservation and convert the seats from one reservation category to the other reservation category at each stage 3,4 & 5 mentioned above.
