Formative & Summative Assessment Procedure in AP Model Primary Schools/ FA, SA Exams Procedure in AP MPS Schools: Improved Assessment procedures in MPS- Road Map for the academic excellence of Model Primary Schools: Evaluation of the child is to be aimed at recognizing his academic needs, behavioural adjustments and to help him achieve the expected outcomes. నిరంతర సమగ్ర మూల్యాంకనంలో రెండు రకాల మూల్యాంకనాలు ఉన్నాయి అవి :
పిల్లల ప్రగతిని నిరంతరం పరిశీలిస్తూ అవసరమైన సందర్భాలలో పిల్లలకు సహకారిగా నిలిచేది. తరగతిగదిలో జరిగే చర్చలు, పిల్లల సమాధానాలు పాఠం మధ్యలో మరియు చివర ఉన్న ప్రశ్నలు. అభ్యాసాలు గురించి చర్చిస్తున్నప్పుడు పిల్లలు చర్చల్లో పాల్గొని ఇచ్చే సమాధానాలు, పిల్లలు రాసిన నోటు పుస్తకాలు, తరగతిపని, ఇంటిపని, ప్రాజెక్టు పనులు, జట్టు పనులు మొదలైన వాటి ఆధారంగా పిల్లలు ఏమి నేర్చుకున్నారో, ఎలా నేర్చుకున్నారనేది ఉపాధ్యాయుడు అంచనా వేయవచ్చు.
ఇందుకోసం మనం నాలుగు సాధనాలు వినియోగిస్తున్నాం.

CCE: నిరంతర సమగ్ర మూల్యాంకనం
నిరంతరం అంటే పిల్లల ప్రగతిని ఒక సంఘటనకో, సందర్భానికో ఎప్పుడో ఒక మూడు గంటల పరీక్షకు పరిమితం చేయకుండా ఎల్లప్పుడు పరిశీలించడం. అనగా నిరంతరం పాఠశాల లోపల, వెలుపల పిల్లల శారీరక మానసిక వికాసాలను తరచుగా క్రమపద్ధతిలో పరిశీలిస్తున్నామని తెలియకుండానే పరిశీలించాలి. అభ్యసన లోపాలు గుర్తించి సవరణాత్మక చర్యలు చేపట్టడం ద్వారా ఉపాధ్యాయులూ, విద్యార్థి ఇద్దరూ కూడా ఎప్పటికప్పుడు స్వీయమూల్యాంకనం చేసుకోగలగాలి.నిరంతర సమగ్ర మూల్యాంకనంలో రెండు రకాల మూల్యాంకనాలు ఉన్నాయి అవి :
- 1. నిర్మాణాత్మక మూల్యాంకనం (Formative Assessment F.A)
- 2. సంగ్రహణాత్మక మూల్యాంకనం. (Summative Assessment SA)
నిర్మాణాత్మక మూల్యాంకనం Formative Assessment
తరగతి గదిలో కల్పించిన అభ్యసనప్రక్రియలలో పిల్లలు పాల్గొంటున్నప్పుడు. వారు ఏ విధంగా నేర్చుకుంటున్నారో పరిశీలించి నమోదు చేయడం ద్వారా పిల్లల అభ్యసనాన్ని మెరుగుపరచడానికి కృషి చేయడాన్ని నిర్మాణాత్మక మూల్యాంకనం అంటారు. ఇది ఏ పి టీచర్స్ డాట్ ఇం వెబ్సైట్ వారి కూర్పు. ఇది భయరహిత వాతావరణంలో, పిల్లలకు ఆసరాగా నిలిచి అభ్యసనాన్ని వేగవంతం చేసుకోవడానికి ఉపకరించేది.పిల్లల ప్రగతిని నిరంతరం పరిశీలిస్తూ అవసరమైన సందర్భాలలో పిల్లలకు సహకారిగా నిలిచేది. తరగతిగదిలో జరిగే చర్చలు, పిల్లల సమాధానాలు పాఠం మధ్యలో మరియు చివర ఉన్న ప్రశ్నలు. అభ్యాసాలు గురించి చర్చిస్తున్నప్పుడు పిల్లలు చర్చల్లో పాల్గొని ఇచ్చే సమాధానాలు, పిల్లలు రాసిన నోటు పుస్తకాలు, తరగతిపని, ఇంటిపని, ప్రాజెక్టు పనులు, జట్టు పనులు మొదలైన వాటి ఆధారంగా పిల్లలు ఏమి నేర్చుకున్నారో, ఎలా నేర్చుకున్నారనేది ఉపాధ్యాయుడు అంచనా వేయవచ్చు.

అవి పిల్లల
పిల్లల భాగస్వామ్యం - ప్రతిస్పందనలు (10 మార్కులు)
ఈ అంశంలో, తెలుగు, హిందీ, ఇంగ్లీషులకు పిల్లలు గ్రంథాలయ పుస్తకాలు చదివి, సమీక్ష రాస్తారు. గణితంలో సాధించిన భావనలకు సొంతంగా సమస్యలు తయారు చేస్తారు. సైన్సులో ప్రయోగాలు చేసి నివేదిక రాస్తారు. సాంఘిక శాస్త్రంలో సమకాలీన అంశాల గురించి తమ ప్రతిస్పందన రాస్తారు.
పిల్లలు రాసిన అంశాలు (10 మార్కులు)
ఆయా సబ్జెక్టులకు సంబంధించిన రాత పనుల్ని ఈ అంశంలో భాగంగా పరిశీలిస్తాం. ఈ అంశాలు సొంతంగా ఆలోచించి రాసినవై ఉండాలి.
ప్రాజెక్టు పనులు (10 మార్కులు)
అనుభవ పూర్వకమైన అభ్యసనానికి అవకాశం కల్పించేవి ప్రాజెక్టు పనులు. పిల్లలు ప్రాజెక్టు పనులలో పాల్గొన్న విధానం, రూపొందించిన నివేదికల ఆధారంగా మూల్యాంకనం చేస్తారు.
లఘు పరీక్ష (20 మార్కులు) /CBA (2022 నుండి 1-8 తరగతులకు , FA-1, FA-3 బదులుగా CBA )
పిల్లల సామర్ధ్య సాధనను చిన్నపాటి పరీక్ష రూపంలో పరిశీలిస్తాం. ఉపాధ్యాయుడు తాను చెప్పిన పాఠ్యాంశాల్లో నుండి ఎంపిక చేసుకున్న విద్యాప్రమాణాల్ని దీని ద్వారా పరిశీలిస్తారు. ఈ లఘు పరీక్షను ముందస్తు సమాచారం ఇవ్వకుండానే నిర్వహించాలి.
మొత్తం 50 మార్కులకు ఒక నిర్మాణాత్మక మూల్యాంకనాన్ని నిర్వహిస్తాం. వీటి నాలుగు సాధనాల అంశాలను 5 మార్కుల చొప్పున కుదించి, 20 మార్కులను సంగ్రహణాత్మక మూల్యాంకనంలో కలుపుతాం.
- (1) ప్రతిస్పందనలు, భాగస్వామ్యం =10 M
- (2) పిల్లలు రాసిన అంశాలు =10 M
- (3) ప్రాజెక్టు పనులు =10 M
- (4) లఘు పరీక్షలు =20 M
పిల్లల భాగస్వామ్యం - ప్రతిస్పందనలు (10 మార్కులు)

మొత్తం 50 మార్కులకు ఒక నిర్మాణాత్మక మూల్యాంకనాన్ని నిర్వహిస్తాం. వీటి నాలుగు సాధనాల అంశాలను 5 మార్కుల చొప్పున కుదించి, 20 మార్కులను సంగ్రహణాత్మక మూల్యాంకనంలో కలుపుతాం.

Details of the Four Formative Assessment Tools and Assessment procedures
Formative Assessment Tool-1 : Classroom observations
- a. Assessing each student’s participation levels during interaction in the class, during individual, group and whole-class activities.
- b. Assessing during the transaction of a topic.
- c. Assessing outside the classroom also during assembly, games, library period, etc.
- d. Taking individual care on the students who are less participating in the class or activities.
- e. Assigning small doable tasks to make them actively participate in the class.
- f. Noting down the assessment remarks in the diary/ assessment records as and when observed.
- g. Enter the assessment marks of each FA promptly
Formative Assessment Tool-2: Written works
- a. Assessing the Classwork notebooks: Handwriting, completion of the lessons, neatness.
- b. Assessing the Homework notebooks: completion of the given home works in-time
- c. Assessing the assignments: Quality of the work, Whether done on the suggested lines or not, submitted in time or not, etc..
- d. Enter the classwork marks of each FA promptly
Formative Assessment Tool-3: Projects Works
- a. Assessing the quality of the project.
- b. Assessing the suitability of the project as per the guidelines suggested.
- c. Assessing the completion of the projects in time.

Formative Assessment Tool-4: Slip tests /CBA (Class Room Based Assessment from 2022)
From 2022 onwards The Slip Test has been modified into two types:
- For 1-8th Class there will be CBA (Classroom Based Assessment instead of Slip Test for FA-1, FA-3, SA-1)
- For 9-10th, there is no change, the Slip Test for 20 Marks asusual:
- a. Conducting a slip test very casually without creating any fear of exams and marks.
- b. Conducting a slip test without any prior announcement.
- c. Assessing children’s performance in a few academic standards (2 or 3) of the respective subjects.
- d. Conducting slip tests in a notebook for all subjects for the entire academic year which should be retained and maintained by the teachers of their respective classes.
- e. The entry of marks and grades in the records for each FA promptly.
How to Record the Formative Assessment Result and report to CSE
After completion of Formative Assessment process, the Marks obtained by students in each tool should be recorded in a proper manner.
The tool wise FA Results should be entered in Studentinfo Website for all Students.
After entering the marks, the system automatically generates the grades for the results.
The Results can be downloaded in Reports section of the CSE Student Info Website.
