Sub: SIEMAT -SAMAGRA SHIKSHA-AP- Republic Day Celebrations-2023 -National School Band Competition in all schools – instructions - issued.

It is informed that, the Deputy Secretary to the Govt. of India, New Delhi has informed that a National School Band Competition is proposed to conduct in the State and winners for the said competition will perform at National War Memorial (NWM)in the evening from Jan 23rd ,2023to 30th January,2023 i.e during the Republic Day Week.
The District Educational Officers and Ex-Officio Project Coordinators and Additional Project Coordinators of Samagra Shiksha in the State are here by requested to conduct the Band Competitions in all schools and select good teams to participate in National Band Competitions so as to perform at National War Memorial (NWM)in the evening from Jan 23rd ,2023 to 30th January,2023 i.e during the Republic Day Week.
Further they are informed that the competition will be opened in all schools of CBSE, ICSE, KV, NV and State Board Schools and adequate number of schools are to be selected through the competition process so as to send three finalists from each state. The finalists may perform online before a set of jury members ( three Sets of Juries) and each set may finalize three teams. Finally for nine finalists a physical competition will be held.
The overall guidelines for conducting competition and assessment criteria with timelines will be shared soon.
