Important Note on 8th Class Exams conducting in Tabs
- It is proposed to evaluate the use of tabs by students in the VIII class in the upcoming Summative Assessment-1 in Mathematics and General Science in government schools as a one-time measure.
- Therefore, all the District Educational Officers in the State are requested to conduct the SA-tin Mathematics and General Science for eighth-class students studying in government schools with the existing questions in TABS provided by the state government and for all other subjects of class VIII andsubjects of all classes for all management schools the question papers are common.
- The syllabus is the same as prescribed by the SCERT AP for Summative Assessment-1.
- In this regard the District Educational Officers are requested to print and supply the question papers for class VIII students of government schools for mathematics and general science through DCEBs which were prepared by SCERT-AP based on the questions existing in TABS in the prescribed syllabus.The question papers for Mathematics and General Science in Class VIII which were already printed for government school students, may be used for practise purposes after the Sankranti vacation.
