MTS Teachers Deployment in Schools Guidelines 2023.

The attention of all District Educational Officers in the State are invited to the reference 7th read above and they are informed that Government have accorded permission to renew the services of the DSC 1998 contract teachers for a period of 11 months with effect from 01.06.2023 to 30.04.2024, with a break of one month, in principal as ‘no work – no pay’, for the academic year 2023-2024, for smooth running of academic class work and administrative works in the Government school, on the same analogy as was ordered in respect of DSC-2008 contract teachers.
Further, they are informed that the transfers of Headmasters (Gr.II), School Assistants (SAs), Secondary Grade Teachers (SGTs) & equivalent categories working in Government, Zilla Praja Parishad, and Mandal Praja Parishad Schools in the State have been completed. Further, the IT cell has already shared the details of the vacancies in each cadre after transfer counseling.
Therefore, all District Educational Officers in the State are hereby instructed to conduct counselling to the DSC 2008 & 1998 MTS contract teachers and allot them duly following the below guidelines
b. In the Pre-High Schools where the enrollment is less than 98.
c. One MTS shall be deployed in the Foundational/Foundational School Plus, where the enrollment is between 21-30.
d. To deploy MTS Contract Teachers in the School based on the need. e. Not more than one MTS shall be allocated to any schools
While allocating Schools to the MTS teachers, due preference shall be given to the schools nearer to their place of residence.

a. In the Foundational/Foundational School Plus, where the teachers who were not relieved due to lack of substitutes in the schools duly ensuring one regular teacher working in that particular school and following the guidelines issued in rule 15 of G.O.Ms.No.47 and 1(a) & (b) in Annexure of G.O.Ms.No.117 & 128.b. In the Pre-High Schools where the enrollment is less than 98.
