Nadu Nedu-2 MEOs to Monitor the Readiness in respect of Painting, Drinking Water, Roof and Ceiling Repairs
Sub: Mana Badi Nadu-Nedu, Phase-II - Certain instructions to entrust duties to Mandal Educational Officers to monitor readiness in respect of Painting, Drinking Water System, Roof and Ceiling repairs -Reg.
Ref:-Decision taken in the weekly review meeting held on 17.07.2023 .
During the weekly WebEx meetings instructions are being issued to all the District Educational Officer and Additional Project Coordinators to ensure submission of readiness of Schools by Head Masters. Specificinstructions were given to depute Mandal Educational Officersto Schools and give readiness in respect of Painting, Drinking Water System, Roof and Ceiling repairs and Smart TVs.
It is reported by certain companies that school readiness is being given in a very casual manner. Readiness is given in STMS software without the School getting ready. Such fudging of fgures is resulting in additional expenditure by companies in mobilising the human resources, material and transportation multiple times.
As this additional expenditure is being claimed by the company all such expenditure will be recovered from the concerned HMs.
Besides recovery of the additional expenditure incurred by the companies disciplinary action will be initiated against the Head Masters for wrongly reporting the School readiness as it tantamount to fraud.
All the District Educational Officers and Additional Project Coordinators should ensure that this circular reaches all the Phase-II Mana Badi Nadu Nedu Program Head Masters in the Districts. Written acknowledgements should be obtained and this circular should be placed in all concerned groups.
