School Education – Restructuring of the existing 53 Educational :-Divisions in the restructured Districts in to 74 Educational Divisions on par with 74 Revenue Divisions – Strengthening of divisional supervisory structure of School Education Department in districts – Re-appropriating the existing Deputy Educational Officer Dy.E.O. posts in district offices to ensure @ one Deputy Educational Officer post to each of the 74 Revenue Divisions – Copy communicated – Certain instructions issued.

ORDER:

While communicating a copy of the reference cited, all the District Educational Officers in the state are informed that, the Government have issued orders to restructure the existing e53. Educational Divisions into 74. Educational Divisions in the restructured districts by re-appropriating the existing Deputy Educational Officer Dy.E.O. posts in district offices to ensure @ one Deputy Educational Officer post to each of all the 74 Revenue Divisions, to strengthen the divisional supervisory structure of School Education Department in the districts, as carved out in the following manner, duly modifying the nomenclature of the Deputy Educational Officer Zilla Parishad. as Deputy Educational Officer in Education Department:

i. Existing Dy. E.O posts in School Education cadre	50
ii. Existing Gr-I HM Posts equivalent cadre of the Dy.E.O,. in the State School Education cadre	08
iii. Dy. E.O posts in existing ZP Divisions in School Education cadre	13
iv. Dy.E.O eAgency. posts in the Tribal Welfare cadre	03
Total No. of Dy.E.O. posts available for the proposed (74) Educational Divisions on par with revenue divisions	74

The list of district wise restructured Educational Divisions and attached Mandals is annexed herewith for taking further necessary action. Further, all the District Educational Officers in the State are instructed to take the following steps in consultation with the respective RJDSEs for the smooth implementation of the Government Orders:

• the existing 42 Educational / Revenue divisions will continue to function normally.
• to submit necessary proposal in consultation with the respective RJDSEs for mapping 11 Educational divisions, which are located in other than the Revenue divisions with the nearby Revenue divisions.
• to submit necessary proposal in consultation with the the respective RJDSEs duly identifying suitable nearby officers Dy.E.O./Qualifed A.D.. for placing them in FAC to the 21 new Educational divisions.

Further, all the District Educational Officers in the State are also instructed to follow the guidelines given hereunder:

• 1. To depute the Non-teaching staff as the supporting staff to the DyEOs in all the above 74 Educational divisions, wherever required with all the available sources Aided/DIET etc..
• 2. Identify suitable accommodation in the Divisional headquarters, preferably in the Sub-collector/ RDO offices or in the mandal education office in the divisional HQ mandal

The DEOs are directed to submit the required proposals in the matter within two days so as to issue further necessary orders in this regard.
