The attention of the District Educational Officers & DIET Principals in the State are invited to the reference cited and it is informed that CIET NCERT is organizing a five hour online training series on ‘Developing eContent’, every last week of the month from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm from Monday to Friday to orient the stakeholders on development of various eContent.
Further, CIET-NCERT has informed that creating tailored eContent for science education in the modern era is crucial due to rapid technological advancement, aiming to engage, educate, and inspire learners across diverse demographics and disciplines while aligning with curricula, integrating innovative pedagogical approaches, and ensuring inclusivity. This transformative endeavour harnesses technology's potential to ignite curiosity and empower intellects, making the online training program for developing eContent in Science essential for educators seeking to enrich science education through technology.
Hence, As a part of series for the month of September, CIET-NCERT is organizing fve hours of online training on “Developing of eContent for Teaching and Learning of Science” from September 25 - 29, 2023 from 4.00 pm - 5.00 pm to leverage the understanding of teachers, students, teacher educators, administrators, and other stakeholders of school education on the need, importance, development and usage of interactive resources in education (Training Schedule attached).
Further it is informed that the online training will be live telecasted on NCERT official YouTube channel - https://www.youtube.com/c/NCERTOFFICIAL and also be simulcast through PM eVidya. The participants who appear in the post training quiz, score 70% and above will be issued a certificate of participation.
Therefore, the District Educational Officers & DIET Principals in the State are instructed to disseminate the above information to various stakeholders involved in school education, including the faculties, teachers, teacher educators, students and other stakeholders to participate in the training.
