School Complex Meetings/Trainings Dates 29-11-2023/30-11-2023
1. Preparation as Trainers or Teachers
· Kindly ensure that all School Complex Heads approach the preparation for the school complex sessions as if they were preparing to be trainers or teachers in a classroom. This approach aims for a hands-on and engaging session.
2. Effective Facilitation Planning
· Develop a comprehensive plan to facilitate the school complex sessions with maximum effectiveness. Consider structuring the sessions, planning engaging activities, and ensuring the content is both relevant and impactful.
3. Sharing Soft Copies of Notes
Soft copies of notes for sessions 2, 3, 4, 6, 9, and 10 are attached to this agenda. It is requested that these be shared with teachers as well. These notes are for reference purposes during prior preparations and should be contextualized as needed.
HMs can reach out to locally available resource persons for the sessions to take the session at school complex level. For eg: If any of the state resources(HM) is trained in “Self-Awareness” session, they can cater as a RPs for the school complex.
4. Contextualizing Reference Notes:
While referring to the attached notes, stress the importance of contextualizing the content to the specific circumstances of each school complex. This ensures that the information is applied effectively.
5. Data-Driven Approach:
Additionally, adopt a data-driven approach for the sessions. Prepare relevant data for the schools within your complex, such as teacher enrollment, feedback, gaps, and concern areas. For instance, in TPD sessions, discuss the number of enrolled teachers, gather feedback, and identify areas for improvement.
6. Collaborative Action Planning (Session-7)
Collaborate with teachers to develop an action plan for implementing the tasks outlined in the agenda effectively within their respective schools.
7. Discussion Led Sessions
Sessions 1, 7, and 8 are entirely led by School Complex Heads in discussion with teachers. It is essential for HMs to identify resources, plan the sessions effectively, and create a space for teachers to delve into the NEP guidelines on school complex, discussing and strategizing for summative assessments.
8. Beyond Orientation
Expand the school complex space beyond mere orientation or briefing. Create an environment for discussions on the status of activities in respective schools, addressing areas of concern, sharing successful resolutions, and fostering improvement goals.
