SSC GD Constables 2023 Eligibility Criteria
Only the candidates who fulfill the required eligibility criteria as mentioned by the commission are eligible to apply for SSC GD 2023 for Constable posts in BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP, SSF, SSB, NIA and riflemen. The education qualification, age limit, and other criteria are mentioned below-
SSC Constables Educational Qualification (as on 01/01/2023)
Candidates applying for GD Constable (BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP, SSF, SSB, NIA and riflemen) must have passed 10th class or equivalent from a recognized board.
The candidates must have passed Matriculation or 10 from a recognized Board/ University. 7.2
Candidates who have not acquired the essential educational qualification as on the stipulated date will not be eligible and need not apply.
SSC GD Age Limit (as on 01/08/2023)
Candidate is required to be between 18 to 23 years in order to be eligible for SSC GD 2023 Exam. Candidates should not have been born earlier than 02-08-2000 and later than 01-08-2005. Age relaxation is given to candidates belonging to reserved categories as per the government rules.

SSC GD Constable 2023 Selection Process
The entire recruitment process of SSC GD 2023 will be completed in four stages: Computer Based Test (CBT), Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and at the last the Medical Test. The candidates will be shortlisted for SSC GD Constable posts in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), SSF, Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles and Sepoy in Narcotics Control Bureau. through the following stages-

For Computer-Based Examination
The computer-based examination will be of 160 marks consisting of 80 questions. There will be 4 sections in the online exam to be attempted in 60 minutes. 0.50 marks will be deducted when a question is attempted wrong. There will be no penalty if the question is left unanswered. Applications must be submitted in online mode at the official website of the Commission i.e. https://ssc.nic.in.In the online Application Form, candidates are required to upload the scanned color passport size photograph in JPEG format (20 KB to 50 KB). The photograph should not be more than three months old from the date of publication of the Notice of Examination. Image dimension of the photograph should be about 3.5 cm (width) x 4.5 cm (height).
