DIRECT RECRUITMENT TO THE POST OF JUNIOR LECTURERS
IN GOVERNMENT JUNIOR COLLEGES IN A.P INTERMEDIATE EDUCATION SERVICE (LIMITED RECRUITMENT
The applicant shall login the Commission’s Website, with his/her registered OTPR number. In case, the candidate is applying for the first time to the posts notified by A.P.P.S.C. he/she shall register his/her bio-data particulars through One Time Profile Registration (OTPR) on the Commission’s Website. Once applicant registers his/her particulars, a user ID is generated and sent to his/her registered mobile number and email ID.
The selection to the post shall be on the basis of Written Examination (Objective Type) in Computer Based Recruitment Test mode to be conducted by the Commission. The Written Examination will be held in the Month of April/May, 2024.
The candidate should possess the prescribed academic qualification as on the date of this notification i.e., 28/12/2023. The date of this notification shall be the crucial date for calculating the experience including the practical experience, if any.

2. General Science and its applications to the day to day life Contemporary developments in Science & Technology and Information Technology.
3. History of India – emphasis will be on broad general understanding of the subject in its social, economic, cultural and political aspects with a focus on AP and Indian National Movement.
4. Geography of India with focus on Andhra Pradesh.
5. Indian polity and Governance: constitutional issues, public policy, reforms and e-Governance initiatives.
6. Indian Economy and planning
7. Sustainable Development and Environmental Protection
8. Disaster management: vulnerability profile, prevention and mitigation strategies, Application of Remote Sensing and GIS in the assessment of Disaster
9. Logical reasoning, analytical ability and logical interpretation.
10. Data Analysis: Tabulation of data Visual representation of data Basic data analysis (Summary Statistics such as mean, median, mode and variance)and Interpretation.

It is hereby informed that the Commission has issued Notification No.16/2023, dated: 28/12/2023 for filling up of 47 carried forward vacancies through direct recruitment to the post of Junior Lecturers in Government Junior Colleges in A.P. Intermediate Education Service.The Notification is available on the Commission’s Website https://psc.ap.gov.in from 28/12/2023. On-line applications are invited from the eligible candidates from 31/01/2024 to 20/02/2024 up to 11:59 mid night
Applications are invited online for recruitment to the post of Junior Lecturers in Government Junior Colleges in A.P. Intermediate Education Service for a total of 47 carried forward vacancies from the eligible candidates through Commission’s Website https://psc.ap.gov.in from 31/01/2024 to 20/02/2024 up to 11:59 mid night.
Selected candidates have to work in AP Government Junior Colleges in AP Intermediate Education Department.

Based on merit in written examination, the candidates will be short listed for Computer Proficiency Test (CPT). No candidate shall be eligible for appointment unless he/she qualifies the Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) in terms of G.O.Ms.No.26, G.A. (Ser-B) Dept., Dt: 24.02.2023.
APPSC JLs Notification Educational Qualifications
