The District Educational Officers, Principal DIETs and Additional Project Coordinators of Samagra Shiksha of the LIP districts are informed that in the ref cited the Director, CIPS has furnished a schedule for visiting the District and State teams for monitoring the implementation of LIP in the LIP districts.
It is proposed to conduct an online meeting with DEOs and MEOs(1) of 10 districts on 3rd February, 2024 by the SPD to review the progress with DEOs, MEOs, DIET principals, district team members of 10 districts based on the district team observation reports.
The DIET Principal to submit a brief report of district team visits on the implementation of LIP to the SPD, APSS and a copy to DEO and partner organizations. The TA, DA for the district team members shall be met from the DPO management cost of Samagra Shiksha of concerned district.

The District Educational Officers, Principal DIETs and Additional Project Coordinators of Samagra Shiksha of the LIP districts are informed that in the ref cited the Director, CIPS has furnished a schedule for visiting the District and State teams for monitoring the implementation of LIP in the LIP districts.
LIP District team visits:
The district team visits are proposed from 5th February to 9th February, 2024. The guidelines for the constitution of district teams and their monitoring aspects are at Annexure- I. The MEOs must accompany the teams. The DIET Principal is to head the team supported by the AMO of Samagra Shiksha.It is proposed to conduct an online meeting with DEOs and MEOs(1) of 10 districts on 3rd February, 2024 by the SPD to review the progress with DEOs, MEOs, DIET principals, district team members of 10 districts based on the district team observation reports.
The DIET Principal to submit a brief report of district team visits on the implementation of LIP to the SPD, APSS and a copy to DEO and partner organizations. The TA, DA for the district team members shall be met from the DPO management cost of Samagra Shiksha of concerned district.

The state team constitute of 5 members as a team to each of the 5 erstwhile districts. These five members of a team are @r 1 per subject i.e., Telugu, English, Maths, Science and Social Studies.
Each team visit the school in the erstwhile district and as well as new district @r 2 days per districts. Every team member has to visit two schools per day and every member to visit a different school (no two members to visit the same school).
Progress review by SPD:
It is proposed to conduct an online meeting on 24th February, 2024 by the SPD, APSS to review the progress with DEOs, MEOs, DIET principals, Academic persons of Samagra Shiksha, and state and district team members of 10 districts based on the state team observation reports. The TA, DA & Honorarium for the state team members will be paid by the CIPS.
The DEO to arrange the transport and accommodation to the state team members.
10.Bi- monthly progress report- class wise for 6th, 7th& 8th – Social Studies.
11.School observation format – Observation of HM functional aspects and other school related activities.
12.Subject wise school complex meetings observation format.
The above formats are already given in the lip teacher handbook and provided to every teacher and RPs during the training program. All the observation formats as above are in the form of app i.e., LIP app. The DEOs, MEOs, AMOs, district and state team members must download the app and record the observations on the online observation formats and upload. The CIPS the app consolidate and produce district wise reports on the status of implementation of LIP in the districts and furnish the same to the SPD, APSS for the review with DEOs and other educational officials of the districts.
Therefore the District Educational Officers, Principal DIETs and Additional Project Coordinators of Samagra Shiksha of the LIP districts are requested to cooperate with the District and State team officials during the visit for effective implementation of the LIP programme.
Smt. S. Kalpana, Programme Training Officer of this office is instructed to coordinate with District and State teams during their visit.
The district team shall constitute 15 members @ 3 per subject i.e., Telugu, English, Maths. Science and Social Studies. The subject wise RPS shall observe the classroom teaching of their subject and record the observations.
The DIET principal and MEO to observe the functional aspects of HM of the schools visited and upload the observations through online duly using the LIP app. The team should visit at least two schools per day and observe the classroom teaching on the implementation of LIP steps and also observe the children's progress recorded on LIP competencies by the respective teachers and tally whether they are correctly recorded. The team members at least to test the reading fluency of the children in the class and tally with teacher record on bi-monthly progress report.
The district team members must use the app to record the observations on the online format and upload. The team members to record the bi-monthly progress report prepared by the teachers and upload. The DIET principal to observe the functional aspects of HM duly using the online format.
All the district team members should observe the implementation aspects of LIP as per the format through the online app and enter the observations and upload. The TA & DA to the district teams shall be from Samagra Shiksha. An online progress review will be conducted by the SPD based on the district level reports on the implementation of LIP and progress across the LIP competencies.

The CIPS has developed online monitoring app with observation formats on the implementation of LIP. Following are the online observation formats available on LIP app created by CIPS.- 1. Classroom Observation format- for both teaching and practice periods-Telugu.

- 3. Classroom Observation format- for both teaching and practice periods- Maths.
- 4. Classroom Observation format- for both teaching and practice periods- Science.

Drafting the district teams to observe the implementation of LIP: The DEO has to constitute the district teams with DIET principal, AMO, Complex HMS, RPS and district DRGS who has conducted training to the teachers and headmasters. The State Resource Group members representing from their district need to be engaged in the district monitoring. The district team to visit five days and observe the implementation of the LIP in the schools and submit a report to the DEO and a copy to SPD and partner organizations.The district team shall constitute 15 members @ 3 per subject i.e., Telugu, English, Maths. The list of state team members to be drafted to the district visits is enclosed. The state team members are drafted to the district are @ 5 per erstwhile district @ 1 per subject i.e.. Telugu. English, Maths, Science and Social Studies. Each team visit the schools in the erstwhile district and as well as new district @ 2 days per district.They should visit at least two schools per day and observe the classroom teaching on the implementation of LIP steps and also observe the children progress on LIP competencies recorded by the respective teachers and tally whether they are correctly recorded or not. The state team members must test children reading fluency and tally with the teachers recording on the reading fluency competency.
The state team members must use the app to record the observations on the online format and upload. The team members to enter the bi-monthly progress report online and upload. The DIET principal, MEOS and AMOS to observe the functional aspects of HM duly using the online format.
The concerned AMOS and MEOS should accompany the state team members and participate in the observations. The DEO is also to accompany state teams to one or two school to observe the nature of monitoring and understanding the status of LIP implementation.
