TRIBAL WELFARE DEPARTMENT Up-gradation of (251) posts Language Pandits (Telugu-98), (Hindi-93) and Physical Education Teachers (60) in the Tribal Welfare Ashram High Schools to the cadre of School Assistants in the Tribal Welfare Ashram High Schools on par with the School Education Department and Municipal Administration & Urban Development Departments in the interest of quality education in Tribal areas - Permission Accorded.

ORDER:
In the reference read above, the Director of Tribal Welfare Department, A.P., Vijayawada has informed that, the School Education Department have issued orders for up-gradation of the posts of Language Pandits and Physical Education Teachers in Government Zilla Parishads, Mandal Parishads, Municipal High Schools and Government Upper Primary Schools to School Assistants vide G.O.Ms.No.77, School Education (SER.II) Department dated.30.12.2019. The Director of Tribal Welfare Department, A.P., Vijayawada has sent a proposal for up-gradation of (251) posts i.e., Language Pandits (Telugu-98), (Hindi-93) and Physical Education Teachers (60) in Tribal Welfare Ashram High Schools to School Assistants in Tribal Welfare Ashram High Schools with effect from 30.10.2019 on par with the School Education Department.
2. The Government after careful examination of the matter hereby accord permission to the Director of Tribal Welfare Department, A.P., Vijayawada for up-gradation of (251) posts i.e., Language Pandits (Telugu-98), (Hindi-93) and Physical Education Teachers (60) to the cadre of School Assistants in the Tribal Welfare Ashram High Schools which are not having School Assistant posts in the subjects of Telugu, Hindi & Physical Education Teachers on par with the School Education Department and Municipal Administration & Urban Development Departments in the interest of quality education in Tribal areas.

3. This order is issued with the concurrence of the Finance Department vide U.O.No:2200757/HR.II/FINO-HROPDPP/CRRD/143/2023, Dated.06.12.2023.
4. The Director of Tribal Welfare Department, A.P., Vijayawada shall take necessary action in this matter by allowing promotions as per the existing rules.
