AP DSC 2024 Notification PDF: The Teachers Recruitment 2024 in Andhra Pradesh is done through the APDSC 2024. The AP TRT Notification contains the Number of Vacancies to be filled through the Teacher Recruitment Test, Schedule, Vacancies Details, Age Limit, Qualifications. This time, through the AP DSC 2024, 6100 Teacher Vacancies going to be filled. The Online Application schedule likely to start from the month of February 2024.
Condition for Appoitment:
The candidates on the selection and appoienteent will be paid consolidated pay as decided later, for a period of 2 years.
They will be given scale of pay after satisfactory completion of 2 years probation. The selected candidates of DSC-2024 will be paid 50% of Basic pay of the post concerned in the 1st year and 60% of Basic pay of the post concerned in the 2nd Year, as consolidated remuneration, during the apprenticeship period of (2) years and they will be placed in regular time scale after successful completion of apprenticeship period. AP DSC 2024 School Assistant Vacancies
Note: Who have acquired the qualification of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) from any NCTE recognized institution shall be considered for appointment as a Secondary Grade Teacher, provided that the person so appointed as a Secondary Grade Teacher shall mandatorily undergo a six months bridge course in Elementary education recognized by the NCTE, within two years of such appointment as Secondary Grade Teacher.
2. Post wise academic and professional qualifications:
i. School Assistants
(a) School Assistant (Mathematics)
must possess a Graduation with Mathematics / Applied Mathematics / Statistics OR one of the three equal optional subjects and a B.Ed degree with Mathematics as a methodology subject.
(b) School Assistant (Physical Sciences)
Must possess a Graduation with at least two of the following subjects as optional subjects: Physics / Applied Physics / Engineering Physics & Instrumentation and Chemistry / Applied Chemistry / Industrial Chemistry / Pharmaceutical Chemistry / Medicinal Chemistry / Bio Chemistry / Electronics/ Geology or Physics / its allied subjects or Chemistry / its allied subjects as one of the main subject and other as subsidiary / ancillary subject and B.Ed. degree with Physical Science / Physics/ Chemistry/ Science as a methodology subject.
OR B.C.A Candidate with Physics and Chemistry at Intermediate level as group subjects and B.Ed. degree with Physical Science / Physics / Chemistry / Science as a methodology subject
(c) School Assistant (Biological Science)
Must possess a Graduation with Botany and Zoology as optional subjects or one of the two as main and the other as subsidiary subject or any two of other allied subjects viz.
Upper age limit for Ex-service Men: A person, who worked in the Armed - Forces of the Indian Union, shall be allowed to deduct the length of the service rendered by him in the Armed Forces and also three years from his age for the purpose of the maximum age limit.

AP DSC 2024 Teachers Recruitment Selection Process
The recruitment shall be through a selection process comprising of written Test and other criteria stipulated by the Government from time to time.
Written Test (CBT):- The Computer Based Test shall be conducted in all the districts. A candidate shall appear for the Computer Based Test in the district in which he/she seeks recruitment (or) in adjacent districts of neighbouring states.
(1) A candidate for selection to the posts of Teachers shall possess the academic and professional/training qualifications as follows:-
Written Test (CBT):- The Computer Based Test shall be conducted in all the districts. A candidate shall appear for the Computer Based Test in the district in which he/she seeks recruitment (or) in adjacent districts of neighbouring states.
- i. For School Assistants (SAs) the total marks shall be 100, out of which 80 marks shall be for the written Test (TRT) and remaining 20 marks for APTET (20%) weightage.
- ii. For Music Teachers the total marks shall be 100, out of which 70 marks shall be for the written Test (TRT) and remaining 30 marks shall be for the Skill Test.
- iii. For Secondary Grade Teachers (SGTs) the total marks shall be 100 for the written Test (TET cum TRT).
- Recruitment will be purely based on merit-cum-roster system as per the existing provisions being adopted by Government of Andhra Pradesh. {as notified in District Selection Committee (DSC)-2018)
AP Teacher Recruitment Test 2024 Educational Qualifications
Qualifications:Qualifications for SGT AP DSC 2024:
Must possess Intermediate Certificate issued by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh or any other equivalent certificate recognized by Board of Intermediate Education, Govt. of A.P. and two year Diploma in Education(D.Ed)/ Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EI.Ed) Certificate issued by the Director of Government Examinations, Andhra Pradesh (or) its equivalent certificate recognized by NCTE.
(Or)
Must possess a graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)
(Or)

Must possess a Bachelor's Degree with Urdu as the main subject or one of the three equal optional subjects or a Bachelor's Degree in Oriental Language with Urdu (B.O.L) or its equivalent or a Post Graduation Degree in Urdu and B.Ed with Urdu as methodology or Urdu Pandit Training or equivalent.
(k) School Assistant (Oriya)
Must possess a Bachelor's Degree with Oriya as the main subject or one of the three equal optional subjects or Bachelor's Degree in Oriental Language with Oriya (B.O.L) or its equivalent or a Post Graduation Degree in Oriya with B.Ed., Oriya as methodology or Oriya Pandit Training or its equivalent.
(I) School Assistant (Sanskrit)
Must possess a Bachelor's Degree with Sanskrit as the main subject or one of the three equal optional subjects or Bachelor's Degree in Oriental Language with Sanskrit (B.O.L) or its equivalent or a Post Graduation Degree in Sanskrit with B.Ed., Sanskrit as methodology or Sanskrit Pandit Training or its equivalent.
(M) School Assistant (Telugu)
Must possess a Bachelor's Degree with Telugu as main subject or one of the three equal optional subjects or Bacherlor's Degree in Oriental Language in Telugu (B.O.L) or its equivalent or a Post Graduation Degree in Telugu and B.Ed with Telugu as methodology subject or Telugu pandit training or its equivalent.
(N) School Assistant (Hindi)
Must possess a Bachelor's Degree with Hindi as one of the main subject or Bachelors Degree in Origiental Language in Hindi (B.O.L) or Praveena of Dakshina Bharath Hindi Prachar Sabha or Vidhwan of Hindi Prachara Sabha, Hyderabad or any other equivalent recognised qualification in Hindi (BA Degree standard) or a Post Graduate Degree in Hindi of the following as per table-I (which is mentioned in G.O.Ms.No.67 dated : 26.10.2018) and along with any one of the training qualifications as per table - II (which is mentioned in G.O.Ms.No.67 dated : 26.10.2018)
iii. Music
Must have passed 10th class or its equivalent examination.
And
Must Pass in two years/Six years Diploma Course in Music (Karnataka, Hindustani) from the Government Music and Dance Colleges in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
OR
Must Pass in four years Certificate Course in Music (Kamataka, Hindustani) from the Government Music and Dance Colleges in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
OR
Bachelor Degree from any recognized University in B.A Music (Karanataka, Hindustani).
OR
Passed in Junior Examination conducted by Institute of Karnataka Sangeetha Sikhshana.
(iv) Secondary Grade Teacher
Must possess Intermediate Certificate issued by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh or any other equivalent certificate recognized by Board of Intermediate Education, Govt. of AP. and two year Diploma in Education (D.Ed)/ Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed). AGE: No person shall be eligible for direct recruitment to the post of Teacher if he/she is less than18 years of age and not more than 44 years of age as on 1st day of July of the year 2024 in which the notification for selection to the relevant post, category or class or a service is made. However, in case of SC/ ST / BC/EWS candidates the maximum age limit shall be 49 years and in respect of Physically Challenged candidates the maximum age limit shall be 54 years.Upper age limit for Ex-service Men: A person, who worked in the Armed - Forces of the Indian Union, shall be allowed to deduct the length of the service rendered by him in the Armed Forces and also three years from his age for the purpose of the maximum age limit.
