SBI Youth for India Fellowship 2024-25: Apply for Rs 75K Fellowship. Recognized as the flagship program of SBI Foundation, it is a 13-month long Fellowship that enables the nation's youth to work on rural development projects in partnership with experienced NGOs. The SBI Youth for India Fellowship 2024-25 provides a framework for India's best minds to join hands with rural communities, empathise with their struggles and connect with their aspirations.
Bright young minds who are Indian citizens, Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), or citizens of Nepal or Bhutan are eligible to apply for the SBI Youth for India Fellowship. It gives them the chance to live in and work with rural communities, as well as to help solve urgent problems related to rural development. The Fellowship develops young leaders by exposing them to the struggles of rural India and taking them on a transformative journey. These leaders work together with community members, local government, and NGOs to create and maintain grassroots projects. There are four stages to the Fellowship journey:
SBI Youth for India Fellowship Eligibility
Hold the status of an Indian national, an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI), or a citizen of Bhutan or Nepal.
Be between the ages of 21 and 32 on the day the program starts, meaning you have to have been born between August 2, 1992, and October 1, 2002. Before October 1st, 2024, at least a Bachelor's degree must be finished.

A proactive team player with excellent leadership abilities Socially conscious because you'll be residing in a variety of rural communities. Willing to dedicate themselves to a 13-month rural fellowship program and learn to live in difficult rural circumstances.
- A highly motivated graduate, either a young professional or fresh out of college (addition of Bachelors) having this parameters:
- Aged between 21 and 32 as on the date of commencement of programme

Aim of SBI Youth for India Program
SBI Youth for India is a rural Fellowship programme initiated by the State Bank of India, funded and managed by the SBI Foundation in partnership with reputed NGOs. It seeks to address rural India's most pressing problems by:
- Providing educated urban youth with an opportunity to touch lives and create positive change at the grass root level in rural India.
- Providing NGOs working on development projects in rural India with educated human resource whose skill sets can be used to catalyze rural development.
- Promoting a forum for the Programme alumni to share ideas and contribute to rural development throughout their professional life.
Goals The State Bank of India launched the Rural Fellowship program SBI Youth for India, which is funded and run by the SBI Foundation in collaboration with reputable local non-profits. It aims to address the most important issues facing rural India by:
Giving educated Indian youth the chance to make a difference in people's lives and bring about positive change at the local level in rural India
It is important to supply educated laborers with skill sets that can stimulate rural development to non-governmental organizations (NGOs) engaged in rural development initiatives in India. Encouraging the creation of a platform where graduates of the program can exchange ideas and support rural development in their careers.

Acceptance and Joining: The selected candidates receive an offer letter, and they need to confirm their acceptance of the offer within a stipulated time. After accepting the offer, they attend an orientation program and join the Fellowship.

SBI Youth for India Fellowship: Monetary and Additional assistance
A monthly stipend of 16,000 INR to cover living expenses for the course of the program.
1000 INR monthly stipend to cover your transportation costs for the course of the program.
60000 INR readjustment allowance after the Fellowship is successfully completed.
The price of the round-trip 3AC ticket from your home to the project site, in addition to any costs related to training program travel.
There will be medical claim coverage for you.
SBI Youth for India Fellowship Benefits
Following Fellowship The SBI Foundation awards the Fellow a certificate of completion and a re-adjustment allowance of Rs. 60,000 upon successful completion.

SBI Youth for India Fellowship Procedure for Applications
Candidates for the Fellowship have a rare chance to work with rural communities, create the projects of their dreams, and contribute to India's development objectives through the application process.
Phase 1: Enrolment and Virtual Evaluation Complete the Registration Form to start your online evaluation. You will be required to submit a thorough essay-style response as part of the assessment, in which you will be able to discuss your background, viewpoints, and desire to become a Fellow.

SBI Youth for India Fellowship APPLICATION PROCESS OVERVIEW
The 2-stage Application Process of the SBI Youth for India Fellowship is as follows:
STAGE-1 (Registeration & Online Assessment)
Fill out the Registeration from and begin your Online Assesment. During the assesment you will be asked to provide a detailed easy-based response in which you can share your story, perspectives, intention to join the Fellowship, and overall worldview.STAGE-2 (Personal Interview)
The Personal Interview stage is where the esteemed panel evaluates the applicant's personal characteristics and suitability for the role. SBI Youth for India Fellowship FINAL SELECTION
The selected candidates of Stage -2 will be notified on a rolling basis during the application period via email and/or SMS. On confirmation, candidates will be sent the offer letter, specifying details of the programme, Fellowship support and terms and conditions of the Fellowship.FELLOWSHIP SUPPORT
- A monthly allowance of 15000 INR for the duration of the programme to meet your living expenses.
- A monthly allowance of 1000 INR for the duration of the programme to meet your transport expenses.
- A monthly allowance of 1000 INR for the duration of the programme to meet your project related expenses.
- A dedicated provision for language support will be provided at the location.
- A readjustment allowance of 70000 INR upon successful & satisfactory completion of the Fellowship.
- The cost of 3AC train fare from your residence to the project site location as well as expenses incurred on travelling for training programmes shall be covered.
- A health and personal accident insurance policy will also be provided.
