ORDER:
All the District Educational Officers and Additional Project Coordinators of Samagra Shiksha are hereby informed that the schools will reopen with effect from 13.06.2024 for the academic year 2024-25.
All the DE0s/APCs are aware that in the reference 3rd cited, committees were constituted for receiving, monitoring and distribution of Student Kits viz., State Project Monitoring Unit (PMU), monitoring teams at District, Mandal, School levels.
It is informed that all items of Student Kits are being supplied by the suppliers at Mandal Stock Points for the academic year 2024-25.
In the reference 4th and 5th cited, the State Project Director has released funds to all Mandal Educational Officers to incur expenditure for preparation of School Kits / Student Kits and for transportation of Students Kits from Mandal Stock point to School point.
All the Regional Joint Directors/ District Educational Officers /Additional Project Coordinators / Deputy Educational Officers are requested to monitor and coordinate with all Mandal Educational Officers, Head Masters in your jurisdiction to ensure proper receiving and timely distribution of kits to the students.
It is further directed that the District Educational Officers /Additional Project Coordinators shall only use the word 'Student Kit' in place of Vidya Kanuka in all official communications and records, mails and websites.
The class wise gender wise items in the Student Kit are as follows:
Further, the following instructions are issued to be followed by all Mandal Educational Officers and Head Masters in receiving and distribution of Student Kits.

Further, the following instructions are issued to be followed by all Mandal Educational Officers and Head Masters in receiving and distribution of Student Kits.
- 1. The items delivered by the supplier at Mandal Stock Point shall be counted by the Mandalteams and ensure the quantity and quality of the items.
- 2. If any shortage of items at the time of counting is noticed, the same should be immediately informed to the concerned supplier through official e-mail duly extending a copy to the District Educational Officer/Additional Project Coordinator and State Project Director.
- 3. The Mandal team should ensure the quality of the items at the time of verification at Mandal Stock Point. If any damaged/ under quality/ Mismatch items are found supplied by the vendor, such items should be kept aside and informed to the supplier immediately through official e-mail and such items should be returned to the supplier. The supplier should be requested by the Mandal Educational Officer concerned to replace the above under quality/ damaged/Mismatch items with new items immediately.
- 4. Acknowledgement should be given to the supplier only for the items that are received in good condition and in good quality. Under quality items/Damaged items/ Mismatch items should be rejected at the level of Mandal Educational Officer only. Such unqualified items should not be supplied to Schools and Students.
- 5. Proper accounts should be maintained by the District Educational Officer/Additional Project Coordinator/ Deputy Educational Officer/Mandal Educational Officer/Head Master regarding the receivings, distribution , shortages, damages, mismatch, replacement. The concerned Regional Joint Directors/ District Educational Officers /Additional Project Coordinators / Community Mobilization Officers should take the responsibility of quality, receivings and supplies to students for entire end to end monitoring.
- 6. All sample items of student kits should be displayed in Quality wall at Mandal Stock Points with out fail.
- 7. An annexure with details of suppliers, Phone numbers, e-mail addresses are enclosed herewith for favor of necessary action.
- Hence, all the concerned officers are requested to ensure 100% supply of Student Kits to all Students.
