Ramzan 2025: Urdu Medium Schools Half Day Timings from 8am to 1.30pm during Ramzan
Sub: SE – Ramzan – Permission to all Government Employees of School Education Department belonging to Muslim Community early by an hour from 02.03.2025 to 30.03.2025 – Permission Accorded to change the school timings from 03.03.2025 to 30.03.2025 from 08:00 AM to 1 :30 PM during the Ramzan Period to the Urdu Medium Schools in the State – Orders - Issued – Reg.Ref:
1.Letter.No. 128/MTA AP/2025, Dated:14.02.2025 of the Minority Teachers Association, A.P (MTA).
2.Letter Dated:10.02.2025 of All Minority Employees Welfare Association of AP(ALL MEWA).
3.Lr.No.32/RUTA AP/2025, Dated:Nil of Rastra Urdu Teachers Association, AP (RUTA).
4.Lr.No.33/STUAP/2025, Dated:20.02.2025 of the State Teachers Union, Andhra Pradesh(STUAP)

In continuation to the orders issued in reference 4th read above, wherein this office has communicated orders issued by the Government to all Government Employees to the teachers/staff to leave their offices/schools early by an hour before closing time on all working days during the Holy Month of Ramzan i.e., from 02.03.2025 to 30.03.2025 to perform necessary rituals.
Further, the Regional Joint Directors of School Education and District Educational Officers in the State are invited to the references
1st to 4th read above, wherein representations received from the Teacher unions/Associations to change the school timings from 03.03.2025 to 30.03.2025 from 08:00 AM to 1 :30 PM during the Ramzan Period.
Therefore, after examining the matter, permission is hereby accorded to change the School timings as 8.00 AM to 1.30 PM during the RAMZAN period i.e from 03.03.2025 to 30.03.2025.
Hence, all the Regional Joint Directors of School Education and District Educational Officers in the State are directed to issue necessary instructions to the Urdu Medium Primary, Upper Primary, High Schools, Urdu Medium Parallel section and Urdu Medium DIETs in the State.
These instructions are applicable to the above said schools only, the above change of timing shall not be affected the schedule of SSC Public Examinations or other exams already scheduled in the State.
