Some of the civil works like Boundary Walls, Boys Toilets, Girls Toilets, Electrification, Major Repairs were sanctioned (physical 1530 units with financial allocation of Rs.8902.66Lakhs) under Non-Recurring Budget of BIGs program (“Rejuvenation of Basic Infrastructure and Over all Cleanliness of Government Schools”) in AWP & B 2022-23 i.e., January-2023.
Based on the feasibility report obtained from the field so as to ground the works as per actual requirement, the State Project Engineer has submitted proposal to accord sanction for feasible works. Further the commitment was also given to the Govt. of India for completion of spillover works by the end of June’2025.
In view of above and under powers vested with the State Project Director, Administrative sanction is hereby accorded for 1000 feasible works with an estimated cost of Rs.6134.18Lakhs approved in spillover of AWP & B 2024-25 in BIGs program.
The Additional project coordinators/Executive Engineers of APSS in the state are requested to follow the guidelines of samagra shiksha to execute the works without any deviation and see that, the works shall be completed by end of June' 2025 . No deviation of works shall be allowed at the district level and officers will be held responsible for such deviation.
They are also requested to submit the compliance report by grounding the works immediately with requirement of funds to the respective parent committee account as per financial norms of samagra So as to release funds from the state office.
Further, the Additional project coordinators and Executive Engineers of APSS in the state are requested to furnish the grounding details along with SMC account number & bank details for releasing the amount.
